Hello Hello Hey Hello Hello. Call for interns!

Dr. Monk is looking for an intern based in Accra. Might it be you?

*UPDATE* we have found a wonderful intern!

Dr. Monk is a one-stop shop for social innovation. We research and design fresh answers to the big challenges of our time, together with our worldwide network of pioneers, creatives and visionaries. Our projects are varied in topic, but we consistently aim to produce great impact for people and planet.

THE INTERNSHIP

We are looking for someone who fits either (or all!) of these profiles:

All-rounder. You will support us in different parts of the company – doing research, filing our expenses, posting on social media – you name it. There is room for specialized tasks, depending on your skills and interests.

Creative. You’re a graphic designer and you enjoy creating an aesthetic. Slide decks, infographics, illustrations/collages, online content. And when there is no designing to do, you will support us in different parts of the company.

Beautifier. Our office is new and needs some help reaching its full potential. You are interested in revamping the space both inside and outside. There are a lot of plants, so you should probably not hate plants.

We will invest in your personal creative leadership, together. Growth and learning are both very important to us.

PROFILE

You like a challenge. You are flexible, proactive and passionate. An independent thinker, internationally oriented and great at communicating. Organized, with an eye for detail. And especially, you are YOU. Come as you are.

DETAILS

  • Starting 1 March/April (we can be flexible)
  • 3 or 4 days a week
  • 6 months or more
  • Based at our orange and green office in West Legon

Interested? Questions? Answers? Drop a note (with your CV and, for the creatives that have one, portfolio) to hello@drmonk.org by February 15th 2018.
